I can't see him having a great recording career, but Scott MacIntyre is releasing his new album on Thursday, which strangely coincides with his visit to Idol. What are the chances the Idol faithful just blindly buys his album sight unseen? 20/20?

It really is too bad that this year's contest blows and Simon knows it as well as the other judges. The talent is decent but super raw and Adam Lambert may have spoiled us forever.
The only thing Adam Lambert spoiled is self respect. Stop dressing as David Bowie-Ziggy era meets Madonna pre-steroids era please.
On to last night:
Shadfszaqsafaddfson (aka Shavon), did pretty well. She can also open bottles with her snaggleteeth, true story.
Something tells me that's not Lacey Brown's real hair color. Something also tells me she has fans for some reason.
Brooke White, I mean Didi Benami was solid, despite not messing up and starting over.
Crystal did a better job than the original and I picture her singing to Jim Henson puppets and woodland creatures. her makeover next week will take place at a teeth whitening laboratory.
Kaitlyn Epperly would have done well on guitar hero last night. it reminded me of how i "think" i can mimic the radio, but really can't.
Paige Miles: if you ever wondered what a bad singer with a finger in a live electrical outlet sounded like, wonder no more. her fan base troubles me too, why still here?
Katie Stevens: a huge state backing her with votes, but sounds more like the Middlebury mangler than an AI winner to this point.
Lilly "beetlejuice" Scott made the woodland creatures Crystal sings to hang themselves. Judges got it wrong.
I LOVED BOwersox, she's fabulous. Hope she gets a good makeover, or lets them make her over. I could see her not letting them do much and she needs a little tlc. Epperly was trying to look more like Carol King than sound like her, CORnyyyyyyy even without trying to be. Paige.... wow. I was really hoping teh whole time she wasnt really going to say she was emotional due to MJ's death, but alas, she didm and she blew it big time. She is gone. I'm loving the really red head, lost on her name right now, but very cool chick!
Todd, good call about Didi - total Brooke White imitator, especially last night.
I thought a lot of the performances were really rough, although I think this part of the season can be difficult because so many of the contestants haven't come into their own. Crystal rocks, though.
Didn't love Big Mike's performance the way everyone else did (at least the judges). Certainly one of the better of the night, but I guess I have a heart of stone. It just didn't move me to tears or even a close approximation of tears.
I think instead of calling him Tim Urban, we should call him Tim Urban's abs used in a sentence like "Tim Urban's abs were hugged by Ellen DeGeneres' neck wrinkles."
