OK, I'm a goner, since Alexis was my #4 (and Jasmine #6). But I can't say I disagree with Alexis leaving, if based only on her performance of "Jolene," which was dreadful. I still felt sorry for her, due to the irritating Vulture Vote. She was totally freaking out, trying to sing, while the judges were huddled up and talking about her fate right before her eyes. That totally sucks.

I can't believe Alexis went home before Michael Sarver. I agreed with Simon, I did not understand a word of it. Besides his little girl misses her Daddy!!!!

"Max Pts" is all that really matters, btw; here's an example.
Brooke's Week 2 standing is #39, while JC is way down at #80. However, JC is actually doing substantially better than Brooke, since "max pts" much better reflects the available information on the final outcome. Brooke has 304 (since she ranked Alexis 5, Jorge 6, and Jasmine 13), whereas JC has 327 (since he ranked Alexis 9, Jorge 6, and Jasmine 11). Jasmine's departure will barely hurt JC, compared to the pain Brooke will feel from Alexis, and they were both equally hurt by Jorge.
Similarly, I'm ranked #99, even though I'm faring better (289) than Amy at #41 (280). I still suck, of course, as I think I'd be around #90 in max pts.
