American Idol Viewer's Guide - Michael Jackson!

Here we are folks! The REAL start to Season 8 - complete with lucky number THIRTEEN contestants. And what a long, strange trip it's been. Doesn't bikini girl seem like years ago? Has anyone else noticed that the judges had WAY more tolerance this season for flappy-gummed contestants? Every week, an annoying no-talent ass clown seemed to be able to talk their way into Hollywood. I can't help but think that the judges are becoming pushovers in their old age. Or maybe it's that Simon has gone all googley-eyed over Miss Sassy Kaaaahhhhhra...but I digress. Tatiana Del Toro, which I'm pretty sure translates to "yellow-toothed narcissist" in Spanish, was FAR AND AWAY the biggest offender in this category. No one, in the history of AI, has made my skin crawl like this woman. Her entree into Hollywood was due to one thing: entertainment value. A la Norman Gentle, Sanjaya Malakar, Kevin Covais, and Mikalah Gordon. All on the show purely for their quirkiness, not because anyone TRULY thought they'd win. I'm just surprised she didn't purposely rig her tight-ass sequined dress on last week's show to have a Janet Jackson moment...plop! Whoops! Was that my nipple? 'Cause that would guarantee my spot on celebrity blog postings worldwide for at least another month!

Speaking of Janet (Miss Jackson if you're nasty!)....the rumor is that the contestants this week will be singing the tunes of one Mr. MICHAEL JACKSON!! Having grown up in the 80's, I am pumped! What's the over/under on Adam Lambert wearing a sequined white glove and tight leather pants? Or do you think one of the 13 will wear a burqa in tribute to M.J's latest fashion trend? Will Kris Allen sing "Man in the Mirror" again? He has GOT to be stoked. If I don't see at least one moonwalk, I'm boycotting the show. I include Seacrest in those eligible to perform that move.

Guest stars this week include Kelly Clarkson and Kanye West. I'm not going to comment on Kanye, because his ego doesn't need any more stroking, but Kelly, girlfriend, YOU HAVE STILL GOT IT! Our lives would suck without you. But lay off the cheeseburgers, would ya?

Truthfully, I trolled around YouTube to help me formulate my list this season. I was having a hard time remembering some (Kris Allen), while others are more memorable because they can't dance (Megan Joy)...although she's totally hot. Here's what I found in my travels:
